Special Programs

Georgia HOPE offers several Special Programs to specific client groups in our community.

School-Based Mental Health Program

Georgia HOPE’s School-Based Mental Health Program has been recognized by the state as a model program for intervening early to address childhood mental health symptoms.  We partner with school systems to place one of our seasoned therapists at select school sites to provide mental health assessments, and individual and group counseling sessions for identified students.

DJJ Per Diem Program

Georgia HOPE is an approved provider of counseling services through DJJ Per Diem Funds.  This means that adolescents who are currently involved in the Juvenile Justice system are able to access our services regardless of whether or not they receive Georgia Medicaid.  If you are a DJJ Case Worker and you would like to refer someone on your caseload to our services, please notate the child’s DJJ involvement by checking the appropriate box on our referral form.
