Who We Are

Georgia HOPE is a local provider of quality counseling services, covering 26 counties in North Georgia. The majority of our services occur in the homes of those we serve, thus increasing our client’s access to care. 

Georgia HOPE provides an array of services that help our clients maintain stability in the outpatient environment.  We work in partnership with individuals, families, and community resources to help people achieve good health and meaningful living, with an ultimate goal of improving community wellness.

Making a Referral

Wondering what happens after a referral is made?
See below for the steps we take ensure that help is on the way.


Referral is Made

Anyone can refer themselves or someone else to services with Georgia HOPE.  To do so, simply complete our encrypted referral form.


Eligibility Checked

After we receive the referral, our administrative offices checks the person’s insurance to ensure eligible coverage.


We Make Contact

If the person is eligible for services, a Georgia HOPE Assessor contacts the person or their caregiver to set up an in-home or in-clinic assessment.


Services Begin

After the assessment, Georgia HOPE submits a request to the insurance provider for approval.  Once approved, we begin services.

Geographically, Georgia HOPE is divided into several regional programs, each led by a Program Manager and Team Lead(s).  The teams are comprised of Assessors, Therapists, Client Support Specialists, Family Support Specialists and Peer Supports, based on the number of clients in that particular area.
